Cassy Commissioned to Paint Masterpieces for Legendary Yellowstone Country Club

Cassy’s latest commission is two spectacular paintings celebrating Yellowstone Country Club. The private club in Billings, MT, is located under the picturesque Billings rimrocks and boasts a magnificent view of the Beartooth Mountains, while its championship golf course was designed by legendary architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Both the breathtaking setting and the new clubhouse, completed in 2019, serve as the ideal backdrop for Cassy’s signature relief-painting technique.

“I am thrilled to create these masterpieces,” Cassy said. “Their members exude a welcoming, family atmosphere and the staff has gone above and beyond to embrace my artwork and support my mission to make a difference.”

Cassy is known for her golf- and sports-inspired paintings, having created artwork for the Ryder Cup, the Arnold Palmer Foundation, several BMW Championships, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and the Veteran Golfers Association.

Her partnership with Yellowstone Country Club offers the perfect opportunity to broaden her horizons by creating memories for its members that will shine for generations to come.

Yellowstone Country Club commissioned two breathtaking masterpieces that will be prominently displayed in their new clubhouse. The 40 X 60” signature painting of Hole 18, featuring the clubhouse and incorporating sand from the golf course, will be installed above their magnificent grand foyer stone fireplace.

To celebrate the club’s annual Roundup golf tournament, Cassy’s 36 X 48” original features Hole 11, and is rendered in her sculptural painting style. Robert Trent Jones, Sr. laid out the course, including undulating greens, unobtrusive hazards, and his signature devotion to preserving the land’s natural beauty. His design is ideal for Cassy’s relief-painting style that captures the textural grace of this stunning setting.

This painting will be reproduced only once as 250 limited-edition signed and numbered matted prints, given by the club as commemorative keepsakes to its members and guests playing in the annual tournament, taking place July 14 - 16, 2022.

As a special treat, Cassy is pleased to attend Roundup Week to personalize prints and share the behind-the-scenes story of bringing the masterpieces to life. The week culminates in an extravaganza gala on Saturday, July 16, when Cassy and the club will proudly unveil the original masterpieces to the evening’s guests.

To continue the experience, collectible prints, stationery sets and hand-painted ornaments featuring the club’s signature painting will be released in time for Christmas giving, available exclusively to members in the club’s Pro Shop Retail Program.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with a devoted club that values its members and creating memories through artwork,” Cassy said.

"Living the Dream," Original Painting to Support Zaching Against Cancer Foundation

Cassy Tully's newest painting celebrates the life of the late Zachary Lederer, University of Maryland freshman and basketball manager, who displayed courage and strength during his battle with brain cancer.

Living the Dream is a 24 X 30" original painting alive with energy and radiant color. A packed crowd at Xfinity Center is anchored by the rippling waves of the University flag, a dramatic, four-colored contrast that contributes to the spirited scene. At center court is Zach Lederer, depicted in his signature "strongman" pose, which indicated to his family and friends that, despite his circumstances, he would be fine. The pose has since gone viral.

Living the Dream will be auctioned at a gala on April 30, 2022, at the Xfinity Center to benefit the Zaching Against Cancer Foundation, established in memory of Zach. "I am honored that my painting will benefit this worthy cause," Cassy said. "I learned from Zach’s family that whenever he was asked how he was doing, his response was, 'I'm living the dream, how are you?' Zach’s motto inspired not only the title, but every brushstroke of my painting."

Cassy's commitment to philanthropy is demonstrated by her longtime support of organizations like the Evans Scholars Foundation, the Veteran Golfers Association, the American Heart Association, and the Arnold Palmer Foundation.

"Giving back through my talent is rewarding beyond measure," Cassy said. "The Zaching Against Cancer Foundation is touching and enriching the lives of many families and I am honored to support them."

ZACF is dedicated to improving the lives of cancer patients and their caregivers by providing support through direct patient services and programs, scholarships, and grants. Each year it awards scholarships to Maryland high school seniors who have been impacted by cancer and funds cancer research at Johns Hopkins Hospital. ZACF’s “The Little Things for Cancer” program provides funds for services to help cancer patients and their caregivers with everyday expenses like prescription assistance, transportation and much more.
