Cassy Named Official Artist of National Fitness Foundation

The National Fitness Foundation has announced that Cassy Tully has been named their official artist. Cassy, who has created art for iconic golf courses, destinations, and private collections, will support the organization through increasing youth sports participation through her artwork and appearances at NFF-hosted events.

The National Fitness Foundation is the only congressionally chartered nonprofit focused on health and fitness. The Foundation develops corporate partnerships to help expand youth sport participation in America. It is also the official charity of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition.

Cassy will serve as official artist for NFF-hosted events and create sports-inspired paintings using her signature relief-painting technique. Each painting will be auctioned at NFF events, and a portion of the proceeds will support the organization’s goals of raising the visibility of local youth sports programs in communities across the country.

“I am honored to serve as the official artist for the National Fitness Foundation and to create original masterpieces that celebrate the value of sports in the lives of our nation’s youth,” Cassy said. “Each brushstroke celebrates this remarkable partnership and goes a long way to make a difference in the lives of our nation’s youth.”

Cassy Tully Rallies to Reduce Heart Disease and Stroke Through the AHA's Life Is Why We Give™ Campaign

Cassy is joining in the fight against heart disease and stroke alongside the American Heart Association, the world’s leading voluntary health organization devoted to building a world of longer, healthier lives. Throughout the Spring months, Cassy will be participating in Life Is Why We Give™, the American Heart Association’s fundraising campaign.

“I am inspired to be joining the American Heart Association in their fight to make Milwaukee a healthier community. Their lifesaving mission impacts everyone,” Cassy said.

To support this worthwhile mission, now through May 31, 2019, Cassy will offer prints of Homeward, the painting she created live at this year’s Heart & Stroke Ball. A percentage of Homeward’s print sales will be donated to the American Heart Association. Visit Cassy’s online shop to purchase your Homeward print. Each signed, commemorative 12 X 16” print is $50. Signed prints will be available for purchase in Cassy’s studio during the Historic Third Ward’s Gallery Night and Day, April 26 & 27.

“The American Heart Association is committed to fighting heart disease and stroke and improving the quality of life for all Americans,” said American Heart Association Board Chairman James Postl. “Our work would not be possible without the generous support of committed companies like these who provide donation opportunities to their customers. These corporate citizens provide a force multiplying impact to our work and help us get ever closer to a world without needless suffering or death.”

As the leading source of non-government funded cardiovascular science, the Association has invested more than $3.7 billion in scientific research and discovery since 1949. The organization trains approximately 2 million high school graduates in CPR every year and has reduced cardiovascular disease mortality by 70 percent since 1968.

In addition to contributing to saving lives through Cassy’s print sales, donations may be made directly to the Association at www.lifeiswhy.org/donate. To learn more about the Life Is Why We Give™ campaign and to find other participating companies, visit heart.org/lifeiswhywegive
